“I’m a big believer in “progress is happiness.” I have a very detailed plan for my future and massive goals, but I will never achieve those goals without the small wins. I would love to win GRAMMY’s and have the world know my name, but honestly, as long as I’m making a living doing what I love, that is success to me. The plaques on the wall and awards on the shelf are just very big bonuses.”

Dare to Be Great

ABOUT ME

“DARE TO BE GREAT”

www.lifeoflx.com

Those are the words instilled in pop singer/ songwriter/ performer LX by her father. These same words are emblazoned on her licensed plate, and etched on her soul  “I want my music to make an impact and inspire people, especially young girls so that they can be strong and independent” she affirms.

LX is a dynamic wide range vocalist shifting from delicate sensual low tones to skyward high tones with panache and passion. Her dance pop-style music and lyrics combine sass with sincerity while being delivered with raw emotion. Her brand of pop has garnered the tag #sexysarcasm and as LX tells it “Good girls can play the bad guy”.

LX (pronounced LEX) first dazzled audiences at age 7 when she was invited to sing lead, being backed by a 60-piece adult choir for a holiday church performance and later at age 14 holding her own while performing alongside icon Raven-Symoné.  Shortly thereafter her music broke out on the pop music scene when one of her songs “Go All In” made it on the Billboard Pop Indicator Top 40.  Her second single titled  “Stupid For You” became “Most Added Track at Radio” having spent 22 weeks on the FMQB A/C Top 40 charts peaking at Number 9.  Her third single “Bringing Me Back To You” became a hit in Europe, becoming a fixture on radio from Ireland to Slovenia.

LX has worked with some of the most respected creative collaborators including Grammy-winning artist Jamie Jones (All For One), songwriter Sarah DeCourcy (Kylie Minogue, LittleMix), Ben Sargeant (The Script), Richard Furch (Chrisette Michele, Prince) and Grammy-nominated songwriter/producer Rodney Alejandro who she works with to this day.  LX has shared the stage with a diverse array of artists which include The Wanted, Karmin, Cody Simpson, Charice, and Mindless Behavior.  She staged a halftime show for the UNLV’s basketball team, as well as singing the “The Star-Spangled Banner” for the Phoenix Suns. She has also performed on television for a variety of events which include The Latin Grammy Awards, and also appeared on the NBC/Telemundo Christmas Special singing backgrounds for Alejandra Guzman on December 2018 and an appearance on Good Morning America.  Charitable events include being an ambassador for The Children’s Miracle Network, and the UFC’s “Fight Holiday Hunger.”

In 2016 LX was awarded Music Connection Magazine’s “Top 100 Unsigned Artist”. LX received her AA Vocal Performance Degree in December 2017 at the Musicians Institute after receiving the institutes “Outstanding Vocal Award.”

Most recently her latest single titled “One Regret (feat. Baby Jay)” is a YouTube favorite with close to 1 million views and climbing.  LX’s latest single titled “Blame On Me” is soon to be another hit where she delivers heartfelt emotions while at the same time showing strength from within with the ability to move onward and upward.

LX will continue to move forward with her music while at the same time being that inspiration for an upcoming generation of performers.
